Last time I was at Yankee Stadium I paid $11 per beer. Waited in the rain for 2 hours before the game was called. Good times.

Why do people still go to games?

idk, but the way my friends feel about dark star is the way i feel about baseball. Well except when your hometown team is doing well in the playoffs. but usually its massive ZZZZZZZZs. I would care more if they didnt play every other day of the year (and that isn't much of an exaggeration).

actually during baseball season they play almost every day lol. and the baseball season lasts 9 months including spring training and playoffs.

so have you been watching the brewers? and do you find all sports boring? what about football. 16 games is more manageable than 162.

Well I've been telling myself and my friends all season that I'd start watching/caring during the playoffs. Now that they're here, its a bit late as football is now on. And imo, its all about the pack. I will always have a place for baseball in my heart, my grandpa played for the white sox way back. My brother and I played for a while, many others in the family. Im always down to play a game of baseball. But I really got into watching sports with football. Every play matters in football, every game is a rare treat. Baseball is just so opposite. I had some killer seats at a brewers game this year. Football is where its at though, GO PACK GO!

"But I really got into watching sports with football."

When you're ready to go to the next level, get Take Your Eye Off the Ball. Kind of sad but I think this book has had as much impact in my day-to-day life as The Dharma Bums did when I was a college lad.

that's very cool about your grandpa. i hope he wasn't part of the black sox scandal. i agree football is certainly more fun to watch. i'm a much bigger baseball fan, but the regular season can drag on at points with 162 games. every play in every football game is exciting because each play is so significant. and the super bowl is the most exciting day of the year in sports.

packers are in for another super bowl win imo. i see them beating out the ravens with rodgers winning mvp. they are just too good.

Yea they should go to the bowl this year. Its too bad nick collins got injured. Hes on of the top safety's in the league. Hopefully we can make do without him.

I really need look more into my gpa's history on the team. I've seen his jersey before which is really cool.

Who are your baseball and football teams?

yes, you should look into that! if one of my relative played major league baseball i would certainly know more about it. oh yeah, my 2nd cousin is former pitcher Al Leiter! you probably haven't heard of him if you don't know much about baseball but he was a good pitcher for the Mets & Marlins. pitched for the Yankees too and has been broadcasting with them since his retirement in '05.

favorite teams:
Mets :-(
Jets
Nets

i'm a diehard baseball fan so the past few years have been rough. i love the nfl, but i've been obsessed with baseball since i could swing a bat.

as for the nba, it's just not what it used to be and i don't enjoy it like i used to. i'll still watch the nets (if they're winning!) and i watch the postseason.
